what my boys are up too

This winter Kolby had to move up to the Pinto league, from t-ball. There is a pitching machine and lots of added rules to get used to before spring ball. The biggest thing for Kolby is that there is 6 innings now and not just 3. He complains about going to practice and the games but, once we get there he is having a blast! I love watching him play, I am Team Mom and LOVE IT! Daniel is one of 4 coaches.

Marching season is in full swing for Auston. Auston has enjoyed going to the different elementary schools and having demonstrations of what they do. Daniel is hoping this will get the younger kids excited about band. We have had two tournaments so far, the first bringing in a 1st place win in our division and a score high enough for second place over all the bands (there is no trophy for second over all) the second tournament they were 5th out of 8 bands. they had some competition to say the least and have something to strive for. Daniel doesn't want his band to take an easy win, he wants them to be challenged and in turn this will make them a better performing band and musicians.

Here is the band at Kolby's school, can you see kolby in the hawaiian shirt?

Auston getting ready to perform in his first tournament of the season (he is all the way to the right, in the front row)

My boys are off to a great start! Including Daniel =)
