Week 10 & 11

Week 10 Night I took this photo last year when it was snowing, i love the way the tree in our backyard looks when it is leafless. i have taken some really fun photos of the sunset and our pretty sky's through the branches on this tree.

Week 11 Spring Has Sprung I wanted to take a pretty photo of something that starts to grow in the spring or of a baby animal but, when i came home to a pair of Blue Jays tearing apart my mat and taking off with it in their beaks to take home to their nest, i knew this was what i need to photograph. i wish they didn't fly off so quickly because i think it would of been a better photo with the blue jays in it =)

Week 8 Eternal Love AND Week 9 Guess What?

Week 8 Eternal Love. I chose to take a picture of my "Grandma Bo" quilt. Pasty Ann (Stuckey) Bowman, AKA Grandma Bo. My Aunties, cousins and I cut squares out of our grandma's cloths after she went home to be with our Lord. We made a few quilts or at least started sewing them together on one of our family reunions. I think I might have the only one that is finished =) I love looking at my quilt and remembering the outfits she wore or the many outfits she made for my family and I. Its great remember the family fun times we have had and what grandma had made for us. I miss her so much and can't wait to be reunited with her and so many of those who have gone home before me.

Week 9 Guess What? I totally thought that when I took this photo that it wasn't going to be so easy to guess. I was wrong =) everyone guesses correctly. so i have got my eye out for another photo to post that is more challenging. we will see what i can find....

Week 7 Rule of Thirds

Not my favorite photo but, i really wanted to use these flowers in my yard. i couldn't figure out how to not make them so bright. oh well, it is what it is and it works for this theme. i loved some of the other photos the people in my group used, very creative. i have a great idea for my next theme, Eternal Love......

busy and love it

saturday was such a busy day for us. starting off the morning with baseball pictures, GO CUBS! and then awana games in the afternoon. Kolby is a Sparkie, and they WON, it was so exciting. we were so proud of him. he is a great team player. he won all the events he participated it.

we ended our evening with our monthly Bowman Night! with good food, fun games & family. we love being with each other and sharing whats been happening in our lives with one another. and we really enjoy playing games with one another. i brought my telestrations game and it was a "hit" so much fun and laughing. it really doesn't get any better than that =) i love my family, i look forward to hugging them and being with them each and ever month on our special night together. i suggest if you don't own this game, that you added it to your collection, it is FUN!

Over Joyed by Her Arrival

although i haven't had a chance to hold and love on my newborn niece, i am over the moon with her arrival! my brother picked the most beautiful name Audrey, i LOVE her name! Audrey Paige was born feb 24th at 1:49 in the morning. 8 pounds 8 ounces and 21.25 inches long. and the sweetest chubby cheeks i have ever seen. GOD created this family and we have been blessed immensely by our newest addition! i look forward to watching her grow and being her Auntie... and Daniel her Uncle (we are first timers to this honor), he is also giddy with her arrival and can't wait to meet this little bundle of joy. our lives have been changed and we are excited! Thank You Lord for Audrey =)

Week 7 Taboo

I was having a hard time with this theme. My son suggested i throw a rock through a window, needless to say that i wasn't going to use his suggestion =) i was getting ready to walk my son over to baseball practice when another parent drove up and parked here. i couldn't believe it. so i waited for her to walk her son to practice and took some pictures for my project before she returned to her car. I loved how it turned out!

Week 6 Finding Beauty in Unexpected Places

I have been waiting to use this photo in this project for a while now. I found unexpected beauty in these colorful bottles in the window of an old house in Bodie. I love Bodie, I love finding hidden treasures every time I visit there. I get excited taking pictures and sometimes can't wait to upload them so i can see how they really turned out!
