busy and love it

saturday was such a busy day for us. starting off the morning with baseball pictures, GO CUBS! and then awana games in the afternoon. Kolby is a Sparkie, and they WON, it was so exciting. we were so proud of him. he is a great team player. he won all the events he participated it.
we ended our evening with our monthly Bowman Night! with good food, fun games & family. we love being with each other and sharing whats been happening in our lives with one another. and we really enjoy playing games with one another. i brought my telestrations game and it was a "hit" so much fun and laughing. it really doesn't get any better than that =) i love my family, i look forward to hugging them and being with them each and ever month on our special night together. i suggest if you don't own this game, that you added it to your collection, it is FUN!

Over Joyed by Her Arrival

Proud Daddy
although i haven't had a chance to hold and love on my newborn niece, i am over the moon with her arrival! my brother picked the most beautiful name Audrey, i LOVE her name! Audrey Paige was born feb 24th at 1:49 in the morning. 8 pounds 8 ounces and 21.25 inches long. and the sweetest chubby cheeks i have ever seen. GOD created this family and we have been blessed immensely by our newest addition! i look forward to watching her grow and being her Auntie... and Daniel her Uncle (we are first timers to this honor), he is also giddy with her arrival and can't wait to meet this little bundle of joy. our lives have been changed and we are excited! Thank You Lord for Audrey =)

Week 7 Taboo

I was having a hard time with this theme. My son suggested i throw a rock through a window, needless to say that i wasn't going to use his suggestion =) i was getting ready to walk my son over to baseball practice when another parent drove up and parked here. i couldn't believe it. so i waited for her to walk her son to practice and took some pictures for my project before she returned to her car. I loved how it turned out!

Week 6 Finding Beauty in Unexpected Places

I have been waiting to use this photo in this project for a while now. I found unexpected beauty in these colorful bottles in the window of an old house in Bodie. I love Bodie, I love finding hidden treasures every time I visit there. I get excited taking pictures and sometimes can't wait to upload them so i can see how they really turned out!
Do you think this photo is a match for this weeks theme?

Week 5 Shades of Yellow

I took this photo of my best friends cousin, Crystal. she was wearing a yellow shirt with her cute blondish reddish hair and I COULDN'T RESIST taking her photo. she is a sweet young lady, funny and super cute =) i did however used instagram to yellow it more for this theme. I took this photo while visiting my best friend,Rae, in Parker, AZ. I try and go every year for the off road race and to just hang out and catch up with her and her family. I have missed my friend everyday since she moved to Arizona. It has been over 4 years now. We used to take this trip together to visit with her family & now i take the trip alone to visit with all of them. i love her & her boys so much. Can't believe how fast they are growing up. Nick will be in boot camp next month..... crazy! a plus to all this is that my best friends daughter has moved back to Cali =) she will be stationed in Mira Mar, her hubby is a Marine. So excited to have her closer with her little ones, now maybe i will get to see Rae more than once a year. i am also hoping to go out there in the summer with one of my boys to hang out on the river. All in all i had a fabulous time, races are always fun, lack of sleep a must and lots of laughing. my favorite part i think was playing Dance Central, my first time and I LOVED IT!!! Nick can dance =) check out my trips photos on Facebook.

Week 4 Use Your Imagination

As I walk my little friend to school we stumble upon this! Pretty cool, I think. A heart in the middle of the asphalt, weird. As I pondered for a moment on how it got there, my little friend asked me the same question. I don't know, I said. Maybe it broke like that? He says, hmmmm. Neither of us had an answer. But my conclusion is that there is LOVE everywhere. GOD's LOVE!
