Thank You

I really appriciate the comments you ladies left. It is great to have incouragement. We all need it! I have been much happier in life with setting these goals for myself. It would be great to find an individual to disciple me. It will all work out when the time is right. I TRUST that God will bring me the right person.

Our bible study is going great. We have a new teacher right now and I am learning a lot from him. Sometimes it takes just going over the basics to REALLY get an understanding. I LOVE my group and hope to start spending more time with them outside of bible study. I know our lives are chalked full of everyday things, it would just be nice to support and encourage each other outside of bible study.

I want to put in a word for Carlos Don IV, he is in a hospital induced coma, on life support. He is 12 years old and need all of our prayers. Carlos is a friend on my sons. Auston is really worried about him, Carlos is one of the fastest runners at his school he says. As of today, I don't know if the doctors have found the right antibiotic for his staff infection. I pray that God will be with the doctors and staff as they care for Carlos. Thank you God, we know you listen to all our prayers.

New Begining

I feel as if I am a new Christian. I was born in a Christian home, raised Christian, I even went to a Christian school for 7 years. I somehow missed and didn't learn the details of the Bible. I mean I know how to get to heaven, the 10 commandments and how I am supposed to live a Christian Life. What I can to realize in my Bible Study class is, I don't know half the people they are talking about. I don't know the details of the Bible. How could I have not learned these things. I am 30 years old and haven't REALLY studied the Bible. That is one of my goals this year. Our pastor was talking about how every Christian should disciple someone and have someone disciple them. I don't think I am able to disciple anyone yet. I want to. So I have made it a goal.

blah

Well we had a great Christmas and New Years! My mother-in-law was here for a week, it is always great to see her. The boys like spending time with her. We usually see her in May but she decided to come out for an extra visit. We all went to Sea World and had a good time. On New Years day we took the boys to the Wild Animal Park. Kolby had a great time, feeding the ducks and the goats. It is fun to see the new things that interest the boys as they get older.

Well, this might be my last blog. Nobody is reading them and I feel like I am just writing for myself. I don't know if I will keep it up or not. that is what is making me feel so BLAH!
